Singapore is one of the best destinations if you are planning your future
Many people may remember the period during the COVID-19 pandemic, when schools had to shift to online learning more frequently, with occasional returns to physical classrooms. This situation resulted in missing out on many aspects and valuable moments of self-discovery, as it was often an unintentional experience.
However, in reality, online learning was a relatively short-lived phenomenon and not the root cause of persistent learning challenges. The main factor was that the subjects being studied did not always align with future aspirations. We often found ourselves studying subjects that might not serve us well in the future.
During our education, we may have had doubts about whether we would truly pursue a career that aligns with our interests and goals. These uncertainties could make it challenging to find the ideal learning approach. These doubts often spark a desire to study abroad, seeking educational opportunities that can better prepare us for the future.

Equivalency degree is fine, no need to finish Mathayom 6
We have to mention that, from our interview with a student who studies at the Singapore Institute of Management, she initially had a strong passion for IT. However, due to the curriculum and teaching system during their high school years in Thailand, which did not provide in-depth and specialized IT courses, she decided to seek higher education opportunities abroad. Before that, she had already been preparing to study overseas.
This fortunate situation allowed her not only to study abroad but also to enroll in the diploma program offered by the Singapore Institute of Management in her desired field. It undoubtedly fulfilled their needs. The application process was quite surprising because the program accepts applicants using equivalent qualifications without the necessity of completing high school. Additionally, completing the Diploma program at SIM allows them to transfer credit units towards a bachelor’s degree. This influenced their decision to choose SIM for further studies.
